Delete your account

etappi is developed by Oles Didukh. This page explains how to delete your etappi account, what is removed with it, and what is kept.

Delete from inside etappi

Sign in on any platform and open Settings. You will be asked to type your name to confirm, and deletion starts immediately.

Mobile app (iOS and Android): Settings → Account → Delete account
Web app: Settings → Account → Delete account

If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, cancel the subscription there first — we have no way to cancel a store subscription on your behalf. A subscription bought on the web is cancelled for you as part of the deletion.

Already removed the app?

Email us from the address on your etappi account and ask us to delete it. We check that the address matches an account, delete it, and confirm by reply. Requests are answered within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. There is no recovery window and no archived copy.

Your account, email address, name, and sign-in identity
Tasks, projects, sections, labels, filters, and comments
Habits and their full log history
Focus sessions, goals, and productivity statistics
Reminders, notifications, and push registrations
Uploaded file attachments, removed from file storage as well as the database
Calendar connections and API tokens

What is kept, and for how long

A few things outlive the account. None of them can be used to restore it.

On projects shared with other people, activity written by those members stays with the project. Your personal details are erased from it during deletion.
Encrypted database backups roll off automatically at the end of our provider's backup window.
Invoices and payment records stay with whichever payment provider you used — Paddle, Apple, or Google — under that provider’s own accounting retention. etappi keeps no copy once the account is gone.
Anonymous crash reports are deleted after 90 days and usage analytics after 12 months. Usage analytics is linked to your account, and deleting the account removes the linked analytics profile too.

How long it takes

Your account and content disappear from the live service straight away. The hard delete finishes within 30 days, and backups age out after that on the schedule above.
